jets buzzing around

Lots of fighter planes buzzing around over heslington/that side of York today and yesterday... what's it all about? The airshow isn't till next week I thought - maybe they are practising?

the air show is this weekend. it has,in previous years been b/h weekend,but with b/h traffic volume in the area the organisers decided(or were told to) bring it forward a week

Saw a Harrier and a Fat Albert (C130) today, thought it might be the airshow.

Yep, was the airshow at Elvignton, went on Sunday, nothing like the sound of the Victor showing what full power is really like!

Ironic really, as went in my Fathers Riley Victor, that has no power....
