A great loss to rallying
Discussion
Don't know how many of you are involved in rallying but I was competing at Manby on Saturday in the opposite lock rally.
Unfortunately there was a stage stop on the second stage so that Chris Leeming could be taken to the ambulance having suffered chest pains. Sadly Chris never made it to the hospital.
Anybody who knew Chris would acknowledge him as one of the most entertaining RWD drivers they have seen. The man and a Mk1/Mk2 Escort in full flow were a sight to behold. Chris also prepared fantastically quick motors for many others. In a fitting tribute 2 of his cars went on to finish 2nd and 3rd in class(12th and 13th overall)
As a member of Huddersfield Motor Club I can say that Chris will be sadly missed by us all, and the sport in general.
