Do any PHers fancy a Friday night drink in Sheffy? The weather seems just too good not too.

Could be up for that.

Are you thinking drinks in a pub with a car park, or a night in town?

Either - I live in the town centre but at the same time it would be nice to get out to somewhere with trees.

All depends where people want to go.

Any suggestions to good pubs? The only goodun near us is the Devonshire Cat.

Almost sounds like you might have done that before..

Question is, how the hell did you remember doing it?

West St/Division St can be heaving on a Friday night; best stake out a couple of tables earlyish and stay put.

There is a new(ish) place behind the catherdral that I've been meaning to try for a while, (I've been ouot of town for the best part of 2 years so its probably not that new). Anyone know if its any good? Just off the main drag strip so ought to not be too heavilingly busy..

There is a place called Sola or Solis of summit behind the Cathedral. The place near HAHA would be the peace gardens (Cafe Summitort'other) which is quite nice.
