As I drove through Wetwang (great name isnt it?)the other evening I felt a bit peckish.
I stopped at the chippy and boy oh boy were they good!

Wetwang is surrounded by great roads and the idea came - why not do a quick blast round the wolds and stop for Fish and nerks?

I drive 1800 miles around yorkshire each month and the roads to seek out actively are all around there:

York to Brid - great including Garowby Hill (17% incline)
Driffield to Scarborough - FANTASTIC run, 15miles, a mini proving-ground run
Brid to Scarborough - quite nice, but can be busy
Scarborough to Malton - empty dual carriageway=Vmax run potential.

Driffield to Scarborough is my pick and I bumped into a German-plates Z4M the other day giving the car a

The Chippy at Wetwang has a sister shop in Brandesburton (between Brid and Hull).

now im gutted peeps you all coming into my stomping ground and im working im truely gutted hoping to meet up with you all and two days after my birthday as well (happy birthday to me) oh well i'll keep my eyes open and catch up with you asap.
hope you enjoy some real good fish and chips and clear roads. if you want a good run from there head out towards york then find the turning for thixendale on the right and follow that road. have fun with playing with your gear boxes some truely twisty tight roads a real hidden gem.......
