Hi everyone

I have just joined PH but I've been to a few events in the past!

I have talked to a few other members and we think it would be a good idea to have a regular meet in the Leeds/Bradford area. There are plenty of PHers in the area so hopefully we can get a good attendance, plenty of cars and have a good regular meet. Hopefully we can get something like the Starkholmes meet in the Midlands where PHers regularly meet to chat about cars and enjoy some fish and chips.

We have a venue organised between Leeds and Bradford which is close to the M62 and M1 so access will be easy for everyone.

We think that a monthly meet would be a good plan for most of the year, but as the weather has been so nice and the evenings are long why don't we have a fortnightly meet in the summer?

So who would be up for this?? Hopefully we can get a big list of people who would like to come along. Even if you can't make every meeting, still put your name down so we can see the level of interest.

We also need to choose a night where lots of people can attend. We were thinking of a week night after work from about 7.30pm onwards. What day would be best for people?

So hopefully we can get this event off the ground very soon. So who wants to come along and what is the prefered day of the week?

Sounds like a good plan. Bunnypip is my better half and after a few events we thought that a regular meet in this region was long overdue. A meet that anyone can attend and we can all talk about cars and motoring long into the night.
I thought possibly a Thursday evening, fortnightly till September then go monthly in winter.

So who else is up for it?

There is already a P.Heads/F.cars monthly meet which tends to alternate between the Old Cornmill at J25 Brighouse and one of the bars at Xscape at Castleford.

If it's a P.Heads do you're after, make sure it's at a good bar/pub

I was thinking about the Cornmill meet Al but isn't that more of an Italian car meet? Didn't want to crash the party with lots of random cars
We can meet any night, no problem at all. What night is best then if Thursday is out?

What night is best for people then? Shall we try a 'mini-meet' next week and maybe a drive to boot??

I currently have most evenings next week free. Are we talking within Leeds itself here? I need to know in advance because I don't generally drive to work.

We can meet in Leeds, but the place we are going to finish up at is the Manor Golf Club in Drighlington.
We can either meet somewhere central in Leeds if we all work in town or we can meet at the Manor and drive from there.

Don't know if I would be able to get there regularly but I'd be interested. Drig's a good spot for me as the new house is in Liversedge

Now all I need is a decent car

Next Wednesday Evening - 2nd August - 7pm ish
Meet at the JCT600 Ferrari dealership in Leeds - I can email you directions if you don't know the place.
The plan is to enjoy a spirited drive then head to the Manor Golf Club in Drighlington for a drink and chat about cars.

I have posted another thread up in the Yorkshire section. Please add your name to the list and hopefully we can get a few people along. We get the drive and pub style meet in one too

Looks like it is just me and you my friend. No-one else has got in touch so far. We could always meet at JCT600 and go for a blast anyway
