Hi guys,

just a head's up... Coming home yesterday noticed that the two northbound cameras appear to be operational in the temp 50 MPH limit between Junction 32 and 33..

The southbound two were bagged up when I went southbound yesterday morning, more than likely live by now.

I did try to keep an eye on the southbound ones last night but daren't take my eyes of the numpties on my side of the motorway spotting the camera's at the last minute!

Regards,

Brian (and a Red 350i)

PS Junction 32 is the M18 Junction and Junction 33 is Sheffield Parkway

South bound ones now 'de-bagged' spotted themon my way to Surrey this morning.

Are you going to BBWF?

I'm also South Yorks based (white 350i)

Hmm...

thought they wouldn't waste time... hope the local scam partnership have got plenty of film, last time they had a camera on that stretch you could spot it flashing from the top of the hill where the M18 slip joins!

No, I'm not going to BBWF. The last opportunity to visit Bristol Avenue was more of a draw I'm afraid. Did go last year though.

I'll look out for you, mine is the Red wedge with the 3 plus 3 reg.

Regards,

Brian (and a Red 350i)

Balls....
I came through the northbound at a fair rate of knots on the bike the other night. The southbound flashed someone but I don't remember seeing any flashes behind me. Soon find out I suppose.

Sorry to revive this old thread...

According to the "Safety Camera Database" published by http://pocketgpsworld.com on 23rd July, there are now no less than 5 mobile sites on this particular stretch. (There are already four fixed cameras enforcing the temp 50 limit here already)

These are spread about between the camera southbound at Junction 33 and the camera northbound just where the M18 slip joins.

Since the local plod haven't been going on about the huge increase in accidents on this short stretch, I can only assume they are attempting to cover the cost of the work from the fines..

Or am I being cynical?

Regards,

Brian (and a Red 350i)

fan-bloody-tastic.

Something else to take my mind off the sodding road.

Saw two people being flashed in the space of a min last week - that'll be a nice suprise for them .

Bastards the lot of them - hang the scamera people.
