ok fellows and fellowettes, how about it then? a sort of wall crawl meets evening to remember kind of thing?

...or the usual shape throwing and drunken revelry?

either way I don't mind!

something like the last Leeds one would be good, perhaps taking in some waterside bars maybe...? usual soak-up food prior to the act and then on with the partying...all in favour?

edited to add: how about having it while it's still warm - early/mid august perhaps?

well now you know if you want to come along there'll have to be some special 'crazy rog' antics planned that we can all join in on/video/run away from when it gets out of hand

how about a block booking in a reasonable hotel and take it from there?

I propose saturday August the 5th...anyone care to object?

I was about to say 'just pick a date and balls to anyone that can't come as it makes life soo much easier to organise', then I realised I'm at a wedding that weekend...

Weekend before/after would be good though!

Sorry to hijack, but would anyone be up for a couple of drinks / meal after work one weekday evening? I think there's a few of us who work in the city centre.

If I can find the stabilisers and a shirt that stays buttoned this time I'll be up for it - but not on the 5th. 12th would be better

Edited to add: And you're still due a night out in Derby, Tom!

Now that's a good idea, it's usually Nottingham, why not a Derby night out? we are due a Midlands evening anyway.

For the next month or two, I've got both the house and the apartment - room for a few to crash on the floor of each (although it'll be another couple of weeks yet before I get the flooring down in the apartment!)

Night out in Derby would be "good" (as good as it gets in Derby!) regardless - there are even a couple of places that serve food here, nowadays.

We may even be able to manage a Derby night out with plenty of notice to organise a babysitter

Hi Lisa!

Might be a good idea to plan around you guys, then?

Only weekend I can't do is 21st-23rd of July - I think I'm off ransacking some historic European city for a stag do then *shrugs*

Well, he did say he would pop round, but I needed a break anyway, so I told him not to bother
