Harewood classic car show
Discussion
Anyone here going?
Last year TVR owners club was the best of class from the year before, did they win again last year? The parade around the ring was nice, cross-plane V8's, inline 6's and flat plane V8's in unison awesome noise!
Meant to be nice weather too!

I'll be off to the harewood show on sunday, but i'll be taking one of my dad's car's for him instead of my dax busa rush, so if you see me speeding (over 20mph) in a 1926 clyno royale, either the brakes aren't working or someone is pushing me...
Should be a good day, there is plently of cars registered to be there. about 650 i was told this week.

Well, was a good day. Started raining at half 12, but got there early and had a good look around.
Saw lots of nice cars this year.
Had a quick chat with a fellow and his son with a GT3 RS parked up in the TVR camp (Porsches seemed scattered around which was a shame really as there were a good 15 around the whole venue).
Had a good look at a Ford GT (huge car, but small at the same time... quite awe inspiring really but you could see the "American Ford" in the detailing... window seals looked very 80's Fiesta stylee.
Loads of nice TVR's there, a number of nice looking BMW's, pretty much one of every M car was there which was nice!
Was going to pop over to the hill climb at half 12 but the rain kept coming and I was dressed for sunny weather
Anyone else get there?

Well the Hillclimb was fun, alot left around lunch thinking that the rain wouldnt let off so their times wouldnt improve on the first timed runs before lunch. But for those who stayed the final run was opn a drying track and some of the winners where those on the last run.
Was down at the bottom at chippies:
and watching everyone scrabble for grip around the corner was fun, many westys and TVRs just hanging the back round.
Special mention to Nutter, Moon & Corns in the Ford Escorts who took some entertaining lines around the track while having the cars still set up for the last Gravel rally
