If the weather's not pouring it down (though the forecast is that it will be) I'm planning on popping up there in my MK Indy. Not booked and won't be running, but want to get a noise test on my car. I'm pretty sure that as standard it's >105dBA and want to see what difference if any my DB Killer makes. So I know whether I need to fork out money for replacement.

just got back from elvington, the bad weather made the day more interesting as a spectator, the chevette hs and the lotus sunbeam guys were superb fun to watch, when is the next one
Yeah, was great to watch and the rain does have its plus points. Was more like watching a round of the drift club than a regular track day. Top Marks to the HS and the Sunbeam for a drifting extravaganza and that dark blue 996TT was awfully quick today, who was also at Croft on Thursday - anyone on here?
Diesel, saw you tootle off at luchtime as we arrived thinking you were going for fuel, was looking forward to a couple of laps but you must have had enough by then. Maybe next time eh?

Hi Keith,
Had a great day at Croft with Johnny last Thursday. Was expecting to see you there for some lunch and you could have watched me lose it at Tower corner afterwards . And hearing one of his F1 cars (only half revving at 9000 rpm) really made my ears vibrate in the lunch break, t'was just awesome!
Would be great to see you there at the next one in August with your yellow peril . (details here)
Hope to see you there, it's a great day and worth every penny. Fantastic people turn up with great cars, great food, instructors on hand for the novices like me, nothing is too much trouble while your there (clean me screen, check me tyre pressures, change me wheels, check me calipers ain't gonna fall off), hot passenger laps all day long with JWB and Mick Johnson - and they can drive a car (even better when they are on track at the same time ), finished off with a few sherberts afterwards in Malton having a laugh about the day.
