Just done a search for previous threads on subject but only found 1 hit.

Can anyone recommend a wheel repairer in Leeds or York area.
Only got minor damage to rims but while I'm changing rear tyres I might as well get them done.
Comments much appreciated.

I know there's one in Kirkstall - however, I last phoned them about 18 months ago and can't for the life of me remember their name. I found them via Google though

There's this place Scatches and Scuffs They've moved from Kirkstall Road now, but I think they have a mobile unit. My mate had his Alfa alloys sorted by them when there were in Leeds, did a good job.

Ask member dantheman76 as I know he had a mobile chap come out and do his Audi S2 wheels in Leeds a while back.

Member search and PM I guess.

Do they do a variety of finishes?

I'm looking for a re-con on my wheels (bubbling a bit in areas and two on one side have been re-conned at some point and are significantly different to the other side)

Do they have lots of examples that you can see when you go, so you can choose them? Photo's just don't seem to do the metallic/gloss finish of alloys much good.

Quite local to me and spoken to him before about a dink in a wheel and they seemed good so think I'll try them out.

There's a company in Morley, Leeds calles MSS Ltd
who do a lot of TVR wheels.
It is a very scruffy place in an old mill, but the work
they showed me, on other TVR wheels already in, looked very good.
You can take just your wheels, or wheels and tyres, or even the
whole car and leave it and they will do it all in the day.
Prices looked very good as well.
I'm going to get mine done there shortly
Sorry I haven't got the tel no as the brochure is in the boot of my TVR
which is at the garage having a rollbar fitted at the moment.
Let me know how you go on if you use them.
Cheers

Ian Jemison is the only specialist used by 'Works' teams to recover / refurbish Mag Alloys (They bring them in by the truck load!).
He is also very approachable - he is at Bishopthorpe on the outskirts of York.
He also specialises in Vaux Chevet HSR Body kits & bits/bobs.
