Yes. That'll be John. He was respectably fast last year for an old bloke too.

When is this "Easter Sunday"?
I never understand the calendar for Harewood Hillclimb. I often drive past on a Sunday with the sign up but never realised what was on, or what cars were running?
Last time I went there were all sorts of cars, 2CV, a few Tivs, lots of Mi16 engined 205, some Caterhams, a 330d, etc... is it usually like that, or only specific days/dates?
Basically, which are the ones to go to, or best to just go to them all?
Dave

So what cars run at the events? Is it just a complete mixture each event, or are certain ones a bit more dedicated. I've noticed Ferrari days now and again I think...
Last time I went it was pretty good all day, but now and again there was an hour of 2CV racing up the hill, which was enjoyable, but not something I want to find I go to and have a whole day of 2CV thrashing before me
Anyhow, will be going this Sunday, and the two days in May, just hope the weather stays fine

I'm hoping to make it along at some time during the day.
Just found the Enty list on the web site. Seems like there are an interesting bunch of cars running at the weekend.
Ooooo bloomin eck!
A real selection!
Think I'll be packing the deck chair and getting settled nice and early. Need to get some good pictures too
Dave
went to several days last summer...
Seems at 90% of events - excluding probly the VSCC, most of the events on the sunday (and the odd weekend meeting in June and September) there'll be those who compete in the harewood champion - so a mixture of caterfields, mini/205GTis size classes, TVRs and larger sports, then the bike engined single seaters and the formula fords and other single seaters... plus visiting clubs - so the TVR club, ginetta, lotus 7, Austin 7, MG will visit for an event - last year i think the TVR, austin 7 & ginetta club all visited on the same day...
Also the May and september events have a classic car show on - and one event later in the summer has bikes going up.
so each one there'll be a good selection of cars - only exception will be the VSCC on the 3rd June - which has its own day on saturday, camping and BBQ that night, and then the normal championship round on the sunday.

Hehe, why do you need a High Vis coat?
Just checked another weather site, suggests no raid, with early cloud cover over 50%, reducing to 10% in the afternoon, with 8-10 degree temp.

Wonder which is more accurate. Time will tell
Just don't wanna have to stand, sitting on that slope is so much nicer
