Meet at Helmsley for lunchtime then join NEPHers for a run over the moors finishing off at a pub about 5pm

I intend to do a run to Helmsley in the morning starting at York then leave you with the NEPHers as I have to go work!

Why not do the decent thing and meet them at stokesly? That way you get a run up and back over one of the best roads around.

Helmsley is a good meeting point because there's a big carpark that always has space and is easy walking distance from the centre. Lots of places to eat so we can have lunch then go hoon around a planned circuit of the NY Moors. This plan worked well for last years cobweb run, I just hope I can arrange the 9ft banks of snow too.

I'm out and about on Friday checking the route -

There are some very nice curly roads that were planned for last years cobweb but were blocked by snow on the day. I'll plan them in again and hope the snow permits us to drive them this time.
