An old TVRCC haunt...not sure why it was changed.

At a run to The Star would allow us to get the temperature gauges off the stops.

Squires Cafe in Newthorpe, South Milford

Plentyfull parking, bikers are usually friendly, decent food and beer for those who arent driving

Plus some excellent driving roads, camera free too (just watch out for hidden rozzers)

Mr Holden and myself where discussing this very subject yesterday. We did not come up with any suggestions but thought a trundle out to a few places would be in order to allow for checking of car park sizes, quality of food/beer etc. We were thinking somewhere in the A59/A1/A64 triangle was about the right area. If you need any assistance let me know.

Far be it from me etc, but have you considered the Hopper Lane on the A59 near Blubberhouses or the Black Bull further up the hill towards Harrogate at Kettlesing Head? Both pubs do excellent food. Great driving country not too far out but proper N.Yorks scenery as well.

I vote for somewhere northeast of the York ringroad. That way I will be able join in.

Well it's worth a try

5 years or so ago we met near Harrogate and were indeed the Harrogate TVR region.
That isolated mebers from the east of the county and therefore we changed name to North Yorks, moved to the Capital and membership grew.

I feel it has to be near to the A1 A64.

Ambitions are growing now!
1 - get unrep to a meet
2 - get Tallbloke to join the TVRCC

Amen to that
Am gradually discovering more owners round my part of the country though, (well up to three), so not quite ready for a EYTVRCC yet

I feel like I 'fit in' with the Yorks/Humberside TVRCC who meet near to where I live.
They don't put me under pressure to join

I just suggested those pubs because they are on a main road from york and skipton, and are also easily accessible from Harrogate and Ripon or the A1. I appreciate N.Yorks is a bloody big place.
