Sorry Richard, I won't be ttending I think for the first time since it started .. I've been so frustrated by the karts at the Leeds place that I just can't bring myself to travel the 60 miles there to have fuel tanks falling off, karts spluttering flat out at walking pace etc etc .. shame as i really really like competing but the karts there are just bloody useless

I wish you all the best though, and I promise to come up to a meet this year

happy new year.

.. now if it was Teesside that would be another matter entirely .. very happy to make the 250 mile round trip for that place, especially if it's raining

Sound interesting
Might pop down on the day, not much else to do on these weekends until British GT starts again

Never been Karting before to be honest...! I'll probably be a crock
And the £40 would be the next hurdle to overcome but still think i'll pop down if the father will give me a lift up!

If there's a next time.. count me in!

Dave.

Might have a quick blast somewhere (think there's a bit in Chesterfield) then let you know if you struggle to get a team together

It's my own fault for being scared of stuff like this when I was young
Force your sons into things when they are young, or they will look back and hate themselves!

what theres no double pedaling (braking and accellerating at the same time) as they are right picky about it... heck even to the point if you feet look like touching both pedals they'll black flag ya.

had a works night out there couple of months back - they stopped us all for 15 mins out the Hour, and 2 teams for 1/2hr as the brakes where too hot, and it was our fault (tho no co incidence that those 2 team's karts had been out in the session before ours)

not bitter... unlike my beer

That sounds a bit too over-protective. Should have made a scene and got your time/money back for the bits you missed..

Dave, you shouldn't be scared of karts at all, they are basically impossible to crash! I know I bump into you quite a lot in GTR and generally crash quite often there, in real life my driving style is a bit different!

Think my plan of action is to have a thrash this week some time.. then get back to you after I have 'borrowed' some money from the bank!
Is there a time requirement for the cash to be in Rich and how many spaces have you got left?

Dave.

A neighbour of mine reckons he used to represent England at Karting. Shall I see if I can get him as a ringer?
