Any Church Goers in the Congregation?
Discussion
Hi Folks
I have recently acquired an oil painting of the interior of a church by the famous Leeds artist Owen Bowen (1873-1967). I am very keen to know which church it is. I'm sure it's in Yorkshire and I had hoped it was Collingham, as he is buried there and lived at East Keswick. Unfortunately it's not. It's not Boston Spa, Thorp Arch or Walton either, I visited them all yesterday! If anyone does know where it is I would be very grateful.
Thanks
Paul

By the camp cannon (not to the camp cannon )
So is it then?
Talking of Canons. I usually listen to "thought for the day" on Radio 4 whilst dozing in bed in the morning. Quite often it's the Canon David Winter. I long for the day when they say "and now thought for the day which was to have been read by the Canon David Winter. But he's been fired".
