How about a get together on the 29th October at my place in York ? We could meet for an afternoon beer, fire up the BBQ and sit about until after midnight having a chat. There is sufficient space on the lawns for a few tents and plenty of parking.

I had a thought whilst at Al's this afternoon. The weekend of the 24/29th is the Norwich beer festival, how about a re-union in Norwich on the Friday lunchtime and returning home on Sunday. It would mean getting a hotel (maids head ?) but could be a real hoot.

that would be ideal for me as i'll be in norwich that weekend anyway, they also do some good beer in that part of the world (woodfordes )

Hah. Bob, you meant the Le Mans 2005 thread! I have just composed a lengthy reply to Warren's 2006 thread.

I'm in. Should be an out of work bum by then, and in the throes of moving back to Yorkshire. Might even be living down the road (as I'm considering moving back to York, and Acomb/Holgate is my old stomping ground)

Edmund and I would be in for this (in tents at whatever time of year) but beer festivals bore him because of all the old people and there's nothing his carer allows him to drink.

The drive to Norwich from North Yorks is awful. Why go South? Better roads and no cameras if we go North or West.
