Help ID a road heading away from Harrogate

Few years back I stayed in Harrogate, lovely place, my route took me through towards Grassington and onto Hawes.
The road was in the middle of no where, big wide swooping roads without any other car. I got 'stuck' behind a large lorry carrying stone, on some fairly dirty roads so assume this was near a quarry. The nice lorry driver pulled onto the road with me following, and promptly indicated left for me to pass. And thats all I've got...

Further digging; I left Harrogate and stopped for a photo on the B6160, this was before getting to Hawes and it was before Hawes I was on this mystery road.
I took a screenshot of my route to Grassington, A59, along B6265 then as above photo of B6160. So I'm going to assume your 1st guess is right or it's the B6160, parts of which feel familiar, on google street view, at least.
Next photo I have is Buttertubs pass, north of Hawes, so above makes sense. I will endevor to redo that route to confirm.
Honestly though it felt like a different world, I remember thinking how strange the area was. Like I was in the quarry. Chalky and orange fields/mines either side of the road, forests every so often.

Long time since I was up there. Any chance went past Kettlewell, turned off the A6160 at Buckden, out past Hubberholme, up Langstrothdale (sort of) on past Yockenthwaite, Oughtershaw, eventually joining Cam High Road to eventually drop down onto the A484 near Hawes, possibly going through Gayle?
If you were travelling from Harrogate to Hawes I'm inclined to suggest it may be in the Richmond area as there are some great roads there plus a quarry plus it's an obvious part of the journey to Hawes.
Time wise, how far from Harrogate were you?
Richmond would be a good 60 mins away but closer, say 15 mins or so then I'd say it would be the road from Blubberhouses to Greenhow, this is the most open stretch of road locally that meets your description plus it has the quarry at Coldstone.
A key indicator would be a very steep descent as you drop into Pately Bridge.

You've got it, although my approach was slightly different (https://maps.app.goo.gl/9wR3mQEp1WAB6L6v6 ). The T-junction I mentioned was the one onto Greenhow hill road (your road), as it opens up and you can see for miles. The proceeding roads we as expected and a blast!

Can see mine as well 
And yes it is a bit wild on the tops. I went for a walk and turned around as there was too much wood falling out of the trees before I had even go to the hilly bit.
