Looks like the end of my TVR ownership, for a while at least anyway.

The T350 is up at Harrogate having a new clutch fitted, and then upon completion is going straight to Drive Style on a sale or return basis.

Been advertised for a month privately, without any interest whatsoever.

Ownership, I can honestly say has been increadible fun (if sometimes a little frustrating), and would thoroughly recommend one to anyone, but unfortunately the machine I have 'always' wanted is on the horizon & therefore the TVR is no longer needed.

[small]p.s this is in no way an advert, telling anyone that there is a formula red T350c, 2003 03 plate, 20,000 miles, £1000 stereo upgrade, new clutch, all wheels refurb'ed & redipped anthracite in last 2 weeks, up for sale for around £26,000 :hehe: [/small]

In no way intended as an advert for another TVR dealer in the South of England

Still keeping 'a' car, just not 'the' car.

Bikes don't kill people, rappers do (or is that guns ?).

You're about the 50th person to include the word 'statistic', 'die' or 'well its been alright knowing you' in response to me telling them I intend to purchase one.

Seems you either hate them or hlove them. Un/fortunately I fall into the latter.

More car drivers should ride bikes. The roads would be safer places for Car drivers and Motor Cyclists.

Just in case you hadn't guessed, I fall into the love them category (It's our Ducati 851's 15th Birthday this month.)

The new 675 Triple is supposed to be an absolute stonker.
Its big brother, the 1050, is fantastic with a flat torque curve from 3500 rpm all the way to the red line at 10500 or so.

Good luck with the DAS

Well if you get one you can come on rides with me, as none of my mates have bikes

At least you wouldn't have them TVR seatbelts to contend with anymore

If you get one, give me a shout. It's only me and my mate that go out now and again. I've only been riding a year so still take it fairly easy. I'll probably have the bike at cars in the park in a few weeks.

The main problem is lack of garage. That's one of the reasons I sold my last one.

Hmm......

Garages. Have there advantages & disadvantages.

I do not have a garage, but never let it put me off buying the TVR, for a couple of reason.

1) Can't let tw@ts influence decisions.

2) I think i'd rather wake up with the car gone, than be woken up by a guy with a knife/gun/bat (delete where appropriate), who just wanted the garage keys, etc. Same reason I never hide the car keys.

My outlook is, and always has been 'thats why I pay insurance'.

Plus Zeus & Appollo are great guard dogs.

shame my dogs ain't either called them names or great guard dogs

or are they

I know what you mean, as my Tuscan has always lived outside and I don't have an issue with parking it anywhere. Bikes are too easy to pick up and put in transit vans though.

Maybe, but they can be bolted to the floor, have trackers fitted, etc.

I know its far from ideal, but in my eyes, not a reason to not have one.

Suppose could even be put in little garden sheds (cos they are really secure )
