I know i'm not who you're referring to but I think it's worth mentioning that 'tom' ie me can't drive at the moment either as all cars in his ownership are fecked

no convoy for me then.

Again! I thought the Ginetta was sorted now, well obviously it isn't, what's the problem? C'mon Tom, surely it is time to bite the bullet and get one (or at most two) reliable car(s)....?

PS: If you want some dosh for the Beetle, let me know.

the ginetta was sabotaged while I was in NY this week and it has had two holes punched into the fuel tank and the fuel line cut so petrol pours out very fast indeed.

the fuel tank is bespoke and will have to be made to the original design so somehow I have to get the car on a low loader and take it to sheffield (where the factory is) and find X thousand for the work to be done. I am so angry it is untrue

the mini's tracking is fecked and no garage will touch it (ooh, last time I worked on them was the '70's blablabla) so it's worn it's tyres down to the canvass...is it worth adding that the tyres are out of production and cannot be gotten hold of anymore?

beetle: alternator fecked

pug: sold

I have been taking the smegging bus to work

just put in for a company car, it's only a laguna but at least it'll work

psychobert [ace rimmer]what a guy![/ace rimmer] has offered me a lift, I think on the sunday which would be ideal. I think if it's all ok i'll get a train to sheffield and catch a lift with him

Tom,if you can take the tanks off,i can patch them up FOC if that helps you out.All they need is to be filled with Argon (inhert gas)then a couple of minutes with the welder,no probs.

Horrible feeling that might be a bit of a job to get them off, but if its possible, I've a tool kit and I'm sure I can fit a tank in the tractor to move it to and fro..

Doesn't matter if it leaks a little, will make the car smell like a real car rather than a bloody agriculrural implement..
