Run to the Pistonheads Sunday Service @ The Motorist
Discussion
I have a decent little country road loop I like to do when I visit The Motorist.
I'd be happy to lead a handful of sensibly-driven cars on Sunday if anyone was interested? Would be a 9am meet to arrive at The Motorist just after 10am.
About 20 miles of country roads. Good fun in an Elise, well suited to hot hatches and just about wide enough and smooth enough for big-boys toys as long as you're not too precious.
Just to set expectations, it won't be quite like one of StuB's infamous dawn raids on the NY moors as (a) the cyclists and Mrs Miggins will be awake by the time we leave, and (b) I drive a 1.6 Elise, officially the slowest Lotus since the 80's.
Add your name below if you fancy it.

I fancy it, depending on where you're starting from (I'm in York).
I suspect that as I'm likely to be in the AX given the forecast though, I should leave this to those with slightly more horsepower to enjoy! I'm missing the 'hot' part of the hot hatch...
I'll see you there either way!

Likewise, great to meet you and a blast down the lanes was a perfect start to the day!
Although I’m having flashbacks about that huge lane-filling puddle/lake we found over the brow. So glad there was no oncoming traffic
Anyone reading this and wondering how much fun could you have on a country road with a Citroen AX? You should have joined in, today I was schooled
