Welcome to PH.
I have moved your post to the regional Yorkshire section so you will hopefully get some local knowledge back.

In terms of regular meets, I’m not aware of many.

There used to be an eclectic mix at a regular Sunday breakfast meet at Damon’s (Crystal Peaks) but this ended a couple of years ago (I believe local residents complained about the noise).

I’m aware there is a Saturday morning Porsche meet on Surrey St in the city centre. Not sure of much else.

I’d be happy to be corrected.

Never been but a nice drive out of Sheffield to http://thecardingshed.co.uk/

Always seems to be a collection of something in the car park whenever I go to Chatsworth

Hello!

I was the organiser of this, to be honest the event wound up when I sold my GTR and never replaced it! I had a bit of a mental health break and have had a couple of years away from the car scene.

I’ve currently got a Yaris GR on order and if the bugger ever turns up I’ll be organising meets again!

Glad to hear you are ok Carl.

Count me in if the meets start again.

Fingers crossed the GR arrives soon - haven’t driven one but hear they are amazing.

So after being dicked around by Toyota I gave up, got my deposit back and went and bought a TVR Chim.

Damon’s has closed now so I’m in the scout in the Sheffield/Rotherham area for a decent sized car park with somewhere to get some scran and a coffee. I’m off this afternoon to chat with the owner of a industrial estate not used at the weekend that looks promising.

Same here - I went to Damon’s, really liked what I saw there.

Hopefully you are able to sort something, Karl.

watching..

I always thought 4x4 and more at shepley would make a decent meeting place as there is the bionic chef and a large car park, plus they're rallyraid uk who make the dakar buggies and morgan cxt.

Its not exactly sheffield/rotherham though and the car park is not theirs

the Stockyard truck stop might be a shout

I’m currently chatting with The Stockyard now, I’m also looking at Norfolk Park Heritage Centre (central Sheffield, but a not the nicest drive to get there) and Sheffield Aero Club (better drive but not technically Sheffield).

I’ve also used the Waverley in the past but haven’t spoken to them post-pandemic.

Not an even run by me but by one of the lads that used to attend the C&C at Damon’s. I’m going to run down and take a look.

The Batch House in Chesterfield ran a Cars & Coffe event last month. As it was a success they are now running it monthly, next one will be Sun 26th June at 9.30am.

I went to the first one, quite a good selection of cars.

Not massive and to be honest it did cause a few issues with cars struggling to get parked, however as it was the first one and they were probably unsure how many would turn up I assume they will make some changes for the next one. Its directly opposite the football ground so hopefully they do something with them.
