Discussion
Sunday 7th August around 170 cars and bikes competing at Harewood.
Classes from the Ginetta Owners Club, Caterham Academy cars and the Jaguar XK Club and an incredible 7.5 litre McLaren M12C sports car. Class C has three TVRs entered.
Bikes will include classics, Supermoto, big race bikes and three wheelers from Honda, Yamaha, Huseburg, Kawasaki, Suzuki, BMW and other manufacturers.
Practice runs starting in the morning, timed runs to follow - probably later in the morning/after lunch.

We're planning to go, Incorrigible is staying over on Saturday in preparation for competing in the Caterham Academy. Bob, you know what I look like anyway - but if anyone else wants to meet up. Probably standing at the corner opposite the house, where the fencing comes to a square end. I'll probably be wearing a sky-blue ski jacket if it is cold/wet, whatever the weather, I'll have a Canon SLR slung around my neck. Mr C-G is 6ft, brown hair and if tradition is anything to go by, will be carrying my black camera rucksack. That should narrow it down a bit, come and if you see us.
If it is really cold, you'll find me clinging to the burger van.

Bob, it is about 5 minutes away from Harewood House. There is a map here www.harewoodhill.co.uk/hwoodBARC/location.htm Usually signposted too.

Had a lovely day even if it was a little breezier than I'd hoped!
I was in shorts & PH Le Mans T shirt - "Brrrrrrrr" as they say in the Smirnoff Ice adverts.
Met Incorrigible - very nice chap and also 3rd in the Caterham academy! Nice one.
Tiv's all provided great entertaintment too. Some of those sidecars were automotive lunacy, but show that there are plenty of way to get up the hill fast.
Agreed that the single seaters provided lots of red flags. Not sure how economical it works out, for 2 runs of 50 odd seconds and a couple of practise runs - what's that - 4 minutes all in!
Will post some pics soon.

I would have come but my battery has developed some sort of drain (off to HHC in the morning). I didnt want to risk the ribbing if I had not been able to fire it up at home time
Is there another one at the end of the month?
August 28th and this meeting should see a big TVR turn-out.
