Have to do a flow test to attend?
According to the website you need to have a negative test, interestingly it doesn't say when the test needs to be done (one or two days before, a week)I suspect it could get interesting as a couple of people I know were not aware it was a requirement. Not sure when it became one.

Smacks of overkill to me as walking through any town centre in W Yorks doesn't have this requirement. Will certainly effect attendance numbers.
As it is pre purchased tickets only not sure what will happen. My concern is more people not being aware of the requirement. At Royal Ascot they have all had to provide a negative test to get in and submit a test 5 days after attending.
Ascot was a “trial” event with far larger numbers, hence the testing before and after.
As I understand it the Motorsport Festival is running with a max attendance of 4000 per day to fit in existing rules so aside from a quick lateral flow test then there is nothing to do.
I’m surprised there was no mention of this required on the ticket email though. It’s on the website but I probably wouldn’t have gone back there myself until just before the event.
I can imagine it causing a load of grief on the day with people not knowing.

Will be there doing the Wolfstone Hillclimb. Hope the weather is kind to us.Anyone going? We will be there on Sunday with both cars on display... Pop by and say hello if you do come...
Hopefully will get the opportunity to look around the cars on display, what cars are you showing?
We have two slots in the climb with the Grantura Gem.

Going on Sunday (lateral flow test results not withstanding!) and will be in the Aston paddock with AMOC.
Taking Kermit - my very bright green V12 Vantage S
and our Silver AMR Rapide.

Would really like to get over to have a close look if the timetable allows, I love Astons, there’s a DBR2 recreation in our class.Going on Sunday (lateral flow test results not withstanding!) and will be in the Aston paddock with AMOC.

Living nearby to the event and having a mate who is running a Bentley up the hill, the whole thing is a complete shambles as far as we are concerned, he hasn't got any details of passes etc, the parking is over a mile away from the event site, the hill climb even further, there has been no advertising locally and the website is a joke, I had a run up there yesterday 23rd June in my 993, the access is a nightmare, very narrow roads which I know very well, if 4000 cars turn up it will be a log jam. Sorry for the negativity but why they didn't do it up Holme Moss is a mystery to me. Will go and have a look but it seems to have been very poorly organised. Hope I'm wrong.

Holme Moss was going to be "just" a Hillclimb. This from my understanding is a car show that has had a Hillclimb added to it. Certainly, those running the Hillclimb have very little to do with the rest. I think this was a really good concept, but I’m not entirely sure the execution has been perfect. To be fair the pandemic has made things exceedingly difficult for them.
Our club was asked to help and we are running a demonstration Autotest in one of the fields, plus a stand with a few clubman competition cars. The number of restrictions which were applied by MSUK have probably made this something of a damp squib though.
I suspect the same level of restrictions will have adversely affected the actual Hillclimb too.
Whilst I did want to attend and would love to have taken a car up, I’m moving house this weekend so it was a non starter, maybe next year, I should have an eligible car to enter too by then.
I wonder how close they got to the hoped for visitor numbers, the photos I’ve seen on social media, don’t appear to be showing large groups, let alone crowds.
