Locking wheel nut removal Leeds?
Discussion
Anybody recommend anywhere that doesn't cost the earth to have some slightly rounded locking wheel nuts removed? Do Kwikfit et al tend to offer this service? I need four doing, ideally. Thanks to some ape with a windy gun and chocolate nuts.

I have use 'thewheelnutman' he is based in South Yorkshire (Sheffield, i think...) if you can travel to him he is good value and guarantees removal.
Ironically I sent him a message this morning, still awaiting a response but he seems well recommended. Can you remember the rough cost?Jimmy No Hands said:

The pricing is on his website, i paid for him to come out so there was mileage to pay so it wasnt cheap. He rang me bacj after I sent a message, really helpful guy. Alternatively anywhere which has a Dynomec tool may be able to get them off, unless they are overtightened. I tried the Dynomec on mine and they just wouldn't budge. The AA carry dynomec tools so could be worth giving them a ring if you are a member?

I have AA cover via the bank, as it's not a "breakdown" per se I wonder if they would come out? Tomorrow I'm rolling up to the local tyre shop, if that fails I'll get Steve over. He looks more than capable, but at 80 or so pounds is probably 1/5th of the value of the car
Thanks all.

This company is in Castleford and designs/sells the kit that most people will use to remove wheel nuts - I beleive this is the kit the RAC use.
However if you ring up and go visit them they'll do it for you in the car park.
Buy 4 replacement regular nuts/bolts, have the locking type removed, throw them in the bin and never bother with them again.
