Some little Sh*tbag has keyed / scratched my car
Discussion
So came out to the car this morning and walked round to the passenger side and found the below.
Not sure where it happened. Someone could of done it in the night with it parked on my drive or if it happened yesterday when parked at Lotherton Hall for the day but either way i can't leave it as it is too high up and annoying me too much. It doesn't seem too deep and wondering if people thought it might polish out at a detailer or whether they think it needs spraying?
Also if anyone has any recommendations for someone to have a look / fix it in Leeds area i'd really appreciate it!

There's a few other horizontal lines running down it too, are you sure you didn't catch a bush/twig/etc?
Give it a wash & see if you can feel it with your nail.
If you've got some polish, have a go at one end of it & see if you can improve it by hand, will give you/us an idea of how bad it is.

Thanks guys, i will go out after my Zoom meetings and give it a quick clean around the area and see if it will come off. I can't think of any branches i could of hit! It was pretty much a run from north leeds via the ring road to the M1 then the short journey from the M1 to Lotherton park & i didn't see any branches!
I will clean and report back. Annoyingly i don't have any polish but i'll see if a mate does!

doesn't look too deep, don't thin it'll need paint
A good detailer should be able to minimise/completely eliminate that.

I've never used them, but Danny has been around the same circles as I have for years, I have a DA and all the gear myself so never need any services though.

Thanks mate got in touch with him and doesn't do machine polishing unfortunately! Thanks for the recommendation though! A good detailer should be able to minimise/completely eliminate that.

Having given the surface a wash it doesn't as deep and can run my finger nail over it and it not get stuck so should come out with a machine polish i reckon!
Moto-craft at Pudsey will sort that to perfection, but have a chair at the ready when they give you the quote. I'm a fussy fecker and accept no less than perfection. They did perfection.
In case you're looking them up on google maps, whatever you do, don't use the place to the NW of them by 50 yards.

These guys in Pudsey sorted my M3 when I hit a pheasant at highish speed- http://www.autobodycareltd.com/
A unit full of exotica and a very good job done at not too high a price- well worth it (if needed).

Thanks, so i washed it last night and most of the initial scratch has come out but left a faint scratch mark that is still visible at the minute.
Going to ring round a few detailers to see if they can have ago at machine polishing it out as it looks superficial now rather than deep.
Still stumped how it happened to be honest, one of lives unsolved mysteries!

I would almost guarantee that's foilage. Only takes an errant bramble or branch to do it and the line would never be straight due to the 'wobble' in the branch.]Going to ring round a few detailers to see if they can have ago at machine polishing it out as it looks superficial now rather than deep.

Before approaching detailers, just buy some cutting compound/polish and do it by hand. Will save you a lump.
