May I take this opportunity to say thanks for letting me become both an honorary Yorkshireman and temporary TVR car club member for the PH trip to Le Mans.

Bob & Hugh in the green Chim.
John & Alastair in the blue Chim.
Simon & Mike in the red Griff.
Gordon & Aaran in the purple Tuscan.
Andy & Andy in the blue Cerbera.
Roger & Edmund in the VX220 Turbo.

It was great to meet you all and make new friends, I think we all got on OK. Fantastic week.

Big apologies to Hugh for my blindingly stupid off the cuff comment on 1st meeting (the sun was in my eyes, honest!).

If I got names/cars mixed up, sorry! :paperbag:

Big thanks to Bob from myself and WH for organising the trip.

Great to meet/see you all. Had a fantastic time although it was sooo HOT!

Humungous apologies for my sunday night cooking of the veg curry in rather too much of a Keith Floyd stylee which resulted in my early night.

We forgive you.. Excellent curry..

Big to Bob for the organisation; never realised how difficult it would be to get 14 pissheads in the same campsite well fed and watered, erm.. beered for the week..

Yep it seemed every time I drove past your tents you were either asleep or drinking beer - good work there

BG - nice to meet you at last, the Bentley looked great with all the stickers on there

Just wanted to add my thanks to Bob as well. This was my first trip to Le Mans and I had a great time. Everyone seemed to get on well and enjoy themselves, largely due to a lot of hard work on Bob's part.

Roll on next year!

Now that is good news, he took a few calls on the way back from folks asking how his house was? and he didnt know and couldnt make contact with anyone to find out. Worrying to say the least!

I wonder how he got on at his big interview?

I got a text yesterday saying he got the job ! Doing his presentation in the Bentley obviously worked !

Thanks for all the thanks. I may be going as support to the cyclists next year, if not I will assist Gordon in organising next years do.

Bob

There is one week at Le Mans - the rest of the year is just waiting !
