Anybody got any recommendations? Clipped a hidden kerb and it’s put a lovely scrape on the edge of my black alloy...

Thanks

Hi

I'm about to use The Wheel Specialist in Garforth.

https://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/

Got a quote for £90 per wheel with a 10% discount. Price wise is med-high but they have great reviews.

They are shut at the min, and either need the car for 5 days, or the wheels dropping off.

Same - just before lockdown I had a set of alloys refurbed by these guys and they were awesome. Very good price (bordering on half of what the Wheel Specialist was charging as they had an offer on if getting the wheels done some basic colours - silver/black/grey) and the finish I'm over the moon with. Had some jobs done elsewhere before where wheels weren't prepped etc properly but these are literally perfect.

Would definitely use them again. Convenient too, 2 mins down the road from Ikea, parking outside, can leave the car if needed. Turned my set of 4 wheels around in less than a week despite them being mid-move with their powdercoating machine so they were running with a reduced capacity.

They've done our Golf TDi wheels - £70 each, Rover SD1 Vitesse wheels - £85 each and the DB7 wheels - £75 each. Really good job each time. Just make sure you book the job with them and you will get the wheel back when they say. If you just drop in they can take at least a week.[url]
