VR Racing Simulator (Leeds)
Discussion
Just thought I'd let people know about the VR racing sim place that's opened up in Leeds centre (just after the Bridgewater Place bridge). Just been for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, it's absolutely fantastic. Very high spec headsets, wheels and seats.
Highly recommend it to folk who want something to do with a few mates.

Visited over the weekend.
Nice and easy from Leeds Station.
Decent size place with lots of potential for groups but they were holding back on getting the place 100% depending on how successful it was.
They have drinks, bottles beers and crisps etc. There is a small kitchen but not up and running yet. Also a pool table and dartboard in the back but again this area isn't really up to scratch yet.
The actual simulators are good. Decent quality kit and well set up. They have a couple of large triple rigs for those that don't get on with VR.
Software is Project Cars 2.
One thing I didn't like was them trying to take totally unnecessary personal details.
They maintained they 'did nothing with it' but were adamant they couldn't let me on without it.
We had a bit of a stand off for 10 min or so and I was about to walk out but in the end the lad relented and sorted it. There is no good reason they NEED your full name and address.
Definitely a case of computer says no
Bit pricey but pisses all over Fast Eddies. Best to go midweek evenings I think.
Overall I liked it and would go back with friends. 8/10.
