For those not going to Le Mans, there is always this local event. There will be 35+ TVR's in attendance including a Sagaris. Plenty of other interesting and rare vehicles on show too in the lovely grounds of Harewood House.

Anyone else here up for it/exhibiting?

Excellent. Do you want me to make a call to see if I can get you an exhibitors ticket?

Got 'em. Email me with your address if you want it posting over, or call in at mine for coffee on the day and we'll drive up in convoy.

More than welcome mate.

We're supposed to be there for 9.30am, and the road gets quite congested, so try to get to mine for 8.30-8.45. I'll email you a map.

Bit concerned about how early we are meeting! This is a Sunday morning, right?

Might have to take a bucket and do the car when I get there

Traffic is always a nightmare for this one. Anyone wanting to go should allow plenty of time. I went a couple of years ago and ended up turning around as my E-Type was overheating badly sat in the queue, which stretched back to Collingham.

We'll be comi9ng up Harewood Bank, which wasn't too bad last year for getting into the exhibitors entrance at around 9.15 am. The earlier the better though I agree.

So, where do we get tickets from? Do we need them in advance or get them on the day? Is there a TVR organised stand?

Please fill in the gaps, not been to this do before but looking for any excuse for a good summer TVR drive and meet!

You can get visitors tickets on the day at the event. Probably a bit late to get an exhibitors ticket now, but I'll make a phone call later and see. The West Yorks organiser is keen to get the numbers up, as the Merc club have bought around 70 this year in a bid to wrestle the best club stand trophy from us through weight of numbers . If all else fails, turn up early at the exhibitors entrance and tell the marshalls you left your ticket at home. If they like the look of your car, they may well let you in!
