Does anyone reasonably close to Driffield East Yorks have a set of corner weight scales I could borrow, I just need to get a fairly rough idea of our race midget projects corner weights so I can order some custom springs for it.

I'd need them for about 10 minutes actual work so I don't need to borrow them for weeks.

Unfortunately I can't take it to a weigh bridge as the cars in bits and I need to loosely hang panels etc. For the weights and weighbridges tend not to be particularly accurate and the whole car will weigh circa 700kg, 20kg here or there error will make a difference.

Worst case scenario I'll have to go to Argos and buy some cheap scales but they don't go high enough to just be able to use 4 so that's also a bit of a pain of a job.

I bought 4 x 300kg parcel scales pretty cheap off ebay (under £30 each).
Used them to set up my racecar. Then went to oulton the week before the british GT last year, their scales had just been calibrated and put mine on and it was less than 0.5kg different iirc..

Yeah those. They seem to have gone up a little.

I've found some a bit cheaper, I suspect they will all come in the same type of plain brown box with China logos!

That's brilliant thanks ever so much, 4 of those will make a much neater option than about 6 bathroom scales with bits of wood to bridge the pairs at the front.

I then just use one of the excel spreadsheets online that does all the corner weight calculations, all you have to do is enter the 4 weights and it does the working out.

Could I be cheeky enough to ask if you could send me one or a link to one that works?
