10 years ago I’m sure there was Ecurie in Wakefield.

P1 North in Manchester.

A few others that had older more interesting stuff... I’m sure one had a yellow mk1 996 GT3 and an M3 CSL, and was more like £6,000 a year.

I’m sure I’d seen one 6 months ago who had three sites up the UK (Lancs, London and Scotland) that looked ok, but pretty light on cars and a weird acceptance policy (like a job interview seemingly)... but I can’t even find that one now.

Where have they all gone?

I’m really struggling to get Google results for annual points clubs... more just daily hire stuff.

Are there any good ones left in the Yorkshire area?

I dont know of any local ones any more but I still think there must be a market for a club offering a number of mid range sports and GT cars around the £40-60k mark

These would be all cars which have suffered most of their depreciation and are still desirable, eg; Maser Granturismo, R8, 911 Turbo, V8 Vantage, Bentley GTC, BMW i8, Panamera Turbo.

IMO it would be the perfect way to make my own collection pay for itself - just need a like-minded funder... :-)

It's funny that stu posted what he did as it's always been something I've had half an interest in getting involved with, the insurance must be a nightmare though which is mainly what's always scared me off.

Yes I’m sure the insurance would be a minefield and also very expensive,..
I wonder if Insurance_Jon has any insight into this???
