Alton Cars York

Anyone used Alton Cars in York for body repairs? I've heard a few good reports from them and wondered if anyone here can vouch for them too?

Hi I've used them a couple of times, most recently when some idiot rear ended my 1 series. Really good service and the repair was really good. Definitely recommend them

Well ............. when I booked it in they said they'd need 2 days, later to be told 2 days later they needed for 4! It went in last Tuesday and on Friday I was told there was a problem so it won't be ready until Monday (today). They've apparently had a problem with the booth and it now wont be ready until tomorrow. Getting a bit annoyed now but hopefully it'll be worth it.

I have never heard a good word about them so I'd recommend avoiding them!

RCP at Springbank Business Park repaired and repainted a wing on my DB9 and the job was fantastic. I wouldnt go anywhere else, Damien is a perfectionist and a pleasure to deal with, does a lot of exotic stuff as well as day to day work., even charged me less than the estimate!

Cheers chaps. Got the car done, they had it for a full 7 days though. They have made a good job, colour match is excellent. When I picked it up I noticed some rough(ish) orange peel on one corner of the bumper but they polished that out. I spotted a tiny run in the clearcoat last night so I'll pop over to get them to sort that too.
