Me too- but I also recommend going down to the bottom of the hill as the viewing at Chippies and Country is terrific . At Chippies you look down into the cockpit , almost within touching distance . The spectacle of 1000bhp/tonne + and huge grip at close range is quite extraordinary., Even after my now near half century of Harewood attendance...
Indeed. I think chippies and country are great to watch at. All of them good if you get close quarters. Hoping to be on track but only getting the Force back tomorrow and not driven it since August. A few jobs still to finish inc dragging clutch, brake pad replacement, oil change, throttle return adjustment, ( deffo want the sorting before barrelling into quarry.. ). Hope it stays dry..

Weather was lovely at Chippy's today. Is Steve Carter a relative?Edmundo2 said:
Hi. Yes ..Dad. We share the car. A real benefit to speed events as great to share the experience , lads/dad's, husband/ wife etc..
Thanks, that clears up my confusion.Does sharing a car make it doubly(or more) prone breaking under the stress than your single-driver competition?
Yes and no....Doesn't really matter who's driving, rather just the amount of running time. Single driver doing ten events is same as two drivers sharing doing five events...Obviously you need to agree rules 're whether you just share wear and tear or whether "you bend it you mend it" applies but I think overall sharing is cheaper as you can upgrade or dispose of old items at 50% of full hit ...Biggest benefit is sharing the experience

Thanks for your reply. If I can make it to the Harewood event in July I'll look out for you and your dad doing your runs. Good luck and good speed.
