From speaking with a few who have worked for him over the years this has the potential to just be the tip of the iceberg if people start talking.

The way they dropped the announcement on a Friday evening to try and make it fall into a hole was funny too, the Yorkshire Post don't seem willing to let him go quietly though and the rest of the media keep popping stories up.

My perception was that Sir Gary was all about Sir Gary, Yorkshire was just the platform used to elevate him to where he felt he should be, now that's go hopefully he'll just go back to being Gary.

I think that there are now two separate investigations underway and that he has engaged some London based image lawyers, to protect what is left of his 'image'. Probably wasting his money.
I for one hope that the Police get involved as he has fiddled at least £40,000, from the poor tax payers.
He also seems to have left Welcome to Yorkshire, in financial dire straights.
