Just watched Car Wow's head to head on what is a air field with a runway. I was just wondering if there is such thing in Yorkshire somewhere that I can take my car & two of my friends take theirs to see which is faster in a straight line and obviously not breaking the law in the process.

Thanks!

there are plenty of disused runways about, you need to ask the owner, usually a farmer.

Straightliners run them up at Elvington and Church Fenton.

assuming you're still in the Hond I'd go for the 996 being the winner there hehe (but, yes, it would be fun)

Getting a good 0-60 or a good launch is harder than it seems. So it may come down to driver. i.e. to get balanced results, both of you will need to drive both cars.

Full bore launches can also be pretty brutal on a car. If it's just about seeing which physical car is quicker, start from a 10mph roll in first gear.
