Hi all,

I've got friends in Manchester and they seem to be fairly well serviced in regards car meets pretty regularly. But I'm struggling to find much in good old WY.

I'm aware of Leeds car meet, but not sure if they have started yet and I think are predominantly USA classics?

Is there anything else going off in our region that I can add to the calendar?

Ta!

Cheers, I've asked to join their Facebook group.

Any others, doesn't just have to be supercar stuff?

Thanks!

Cars in the Park, is now 3 times a year, at different Stately homes, Car shows rather than 'meets' though.

The Leeds cruise 'used to be' only American cars, but has expanded into anything goes nowadays. You'll fit in well with a Camaro. 2nd Saturday of the month from around 5.00pm, be sure to register your reg plate in BurgerKing, as Parking Eye issue parking tickets, or play safe and stay less than 2 hours.

Thanks Sonic,

I think I'll take a look at the Leeds event, sounds like a decent do.

What are the 3 events for Cars in the Park? Previously it was Newby Hall and Lotherton. Whats the third, do you know?

Thanks!

Paul.

This year SCITP is 5th May Newby Hall, 21st July Lotherton Hall, 22nd September Newby Hall again

Thornes Park Wakefield is usually(?) the 1st Friday in July from about 3pm - always a great show, American cars of all ages (including mine) are welcome, but they can be strict on other classics being over 25 years old

Thornes Park last July, my car makes an appearance at 8.05 smilehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IKzA4HLIBc

A (mainly) American car show has taken over Wakefield town centre for the last 2 years at the end of April, although I've not heard if it's on again this year yet. My car again at 1.06.39 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6QJLARzluY
