Yorkshire Wheel Refurb With A Difference... Steels

Hi all.
I'm looking for a wheel refurb place in Yorkshire who might be able to cope with doing a decent job on a set of banded steel wheels. They've had 2 poor powdercoat jobs done, the latest of which has only lasted 6 months and is now starting to rust/peel. I believe they need properly prepping/zinc coating and then powder coating but most basic powdercoaters can't seem to understand this. Anyone else I should be speaking to? Got a mate down south who could do them but don't fancy a 4 hour round trip to drop them off followed by the same the week after to pick them up!

try Silkchrome in Leeds they might not do the powder but will do zinc. They are a step up from most basic powder coating places.

I've used Ian Jemison Engineering in York in the past - chap there seemed to know his stuff.

If you're after a proper powder coating place, try Triple S in Bingley. One of the best about.

Didn't realise they had these facilities. Highly recommend these guys I've had a wheel straightened there before.
