Thanks for this link. Stuart came out to sunny Cleckheaton and replaced a leaking condenser and did a full check and regas.I’ve used him a few times, he’ll come to you.
Really good guy. Highly recommend him.

After reading these reviews I called Stuart to sort the aircon which hasn't worked for years on the old DB7. I had replaced the compressor after finding a shaft seal leak and also the condenser which must have been the original judging by the state of what remained of it. The expansion valve had been replaced just before I bought it so that left the receiver drier which I did.
Stuart came out and did the leak check and no leaks so the evaporator (over £700) was good thank fk. No leaks and he gassed it up, Then problem one - the hoses on the compressor were the wrong way round. In my defence I had taken photos and put them back the same way they came off. So he de-gassed the system and went off to another job. Swapped the pipes around and called him back.
Another leak check and all good. So re-gas and start the car. For a few seconds it worked then stopped. He diagnosed a blockage in or near the expansion valve. So another de-gas and off he went. Removed the expansion valve which turned out to be the wrong one and ordered a new one and fitted it. But, before the actual fitting I checked the 2 pipes from the evaporator as I could not see any blockage in the old expansion valve. There seemed to be a lot of green dye and goo in the larger pipe blocking it. Attached a pipe to the other side and blew down it. A small plastic blanking cap flew out. Obviously the 'blockage'. Refitted the valve and called Stuart again.
So he came back today and another leak check. Good. Re-gassed and started the old girl up, Compressor kicked in and the air from the vents was nice and cool (not mega freezing like modern cars) with bang on readings on the gauges. Job done.
I can highly recommend Stuart. He knows what he's doing and he was very careful with the very recently resprayed front end. His prices are very, very reasonable too. What's not to like?
