Diff removal and rebuild recommendations west yorks
Discussion
Do you need it rebuilding or just new gaskets and seals fitting? Generally if it's just side/output seals it needs it won't need rebuilding and is a quick easy job you could do yourself, ditto the rear gasket. If it needs pinion seal replacing that will need the diff stripping to do.
Side seals are definitely leaking a bit, but most of the leak looks to have come from the fill plug area, has it been recently serviced? I think if it was mine I'd pull the fill plug make sure it wasn't massively over filled and let any excess run out if it was. Then refit the plug making sure there is a washer on the plug and brake cleaner the hell out of the diff to get all wet oil off it. Give it a week or 2 and see how wet it is again. If it's not too bad I would be tempted to leave it, if it's like it is now then do it. I have seen a lot wetter diffs and depending how long it's been getting to the current stage the leak could be very very minor and made to look much worse by sloppy filling.
