Wheel refurb - Leeds
Discussion
Probably been asked plenty of times but thought i’d get the latest steer.
Where’s best for good quality wheel refurb at a good price?
Always thought about 50-60ish per wheel for a lightly kerbed alloy but have been quoted £70+ VAT by my specialist which is a bit more than I’d wanna pay but if that’s the going rate....

Sorry not Leeds, but a company i know of who also now do diamond cutting, and a fair amount of local main dealer work.
They did my mates 19" VXR and the wheels were perfect after.

Might be worth the 100 mile round trip, if you dont get anywhere in leeds (although sure there will be a word of mouth recommendation soon) prices on website start out at £192 upto £288 a set inc VAT. or start at £102 for Diamond cutting per wheel (depending on wheel size) plenty of options.
Personally - and before these guys listed above did any diamond cutting services, i used 'pristine wheels' in Milton Keynes and they did my E46 19" wheels and they did a superb job. But thats the car on Axle stands for 3-4 days, ship and return job so wont be worth your while.
If i were having mine done now i'd be going here to see what they can do, and they are cheaper than Pristine were think i paid £120 a wheel.
Would say Wheel em in worth a shout, but your £70 quote is not that bad really.
Regards
Andy

My colleague used Direct Finish to have one of his wheels refurbished. 19” wheel on a 370Z, I believe he paid £75 inc VAT.
I had a set of 17”s refurbished on a Renault Zoe recently by a local bodyshop. Cost me £200 all in but the quality wasn’t ideal as some of the deeper kerb marks weren’t filled properly.
Currently looking for suggestions as the wheels on my ISF could do with a refurb but the paintcode was never released so need someone to match it.

i found a great place between heckmondwike and liversedge by accident, they just sorted my golf gti wheel out which was buckled and diamond finished
they charged me £85 to do the diamond finish refurb and 65 to fix the buckle
