I've had a few meetings in Leeds centre the last few weeks. Obviously there's a great deal of choice to eat but as I'm always rushed I usually end up grabbing a sandwich from the Tesco Metro on Park Row. It's the quickest option for me but the calorie counts must be huge, I don't even look tbh.

Could anyone recommend something from maybe an independent place that does something tasty AND quick but won't end up with me packing on the pounds?

Thanks

This place just off Park Row does great coffee. I think they have a range of sandwiches and pasta too.

It is excellent. Fantastic coffee.

Humpit in the Corn Exchange is nice if you like hummus.

Never eaten at Itsu but it looks perfect for what I need, the fish rolls would probably be a good idea, thanks for the tip.

I pass the la bottega milanese all the time but never went in, looks a good place for a espresso too, I'll give them a go

Thanks guys for the help.

If it is convenient, look at the calorie, fat, saturates content in the stuff you’re eating

Avoid drinks with high sugars, go for pastas without cheese etc, or any of the ‘healthy choice’ range, it’s cheap and cheerful and not unhealthy.
