I went there yesterday after seeing it on Car SOS the previous week - what an incredible little place, and seemingly very little on PH about it already. Fair few cars and loads of memorabilia to look at, and the missus was happy enough looking at the retro clothes shops. Cafe was excellent, not the cheapest, but worth the money.

Is it a secret gem of a place, or am I just late to the party

We go there every few weeks; brilliant place and the food is spot on.

They are moving soon down to new premises in Holmfirth so, hopefully, it will be just as good.

They have a garage tour every month which is really interesting. The owner, Ian Kellett, talks about all the projects they have in the workshops at that time; usually some very rare and stunning cars.

We have been going for some time, great place, and the Sunday garage tour was really good. Looking forward to seeing the new premises soon.

Must confess, we haven't been there for a while. frown

As it is nearby, we went to JEM Speed Shop, Bradford Road in Batley. I am not a motorbike nutter by any means but don't mind looking at them. Had a quick look around the ordinary looking sales room, then noticed stairs going down so went for a nosy. Its like a Tardis. It opens up with loads more bikes, including quite a lot of classic stuff. There's a good sized cafe doing the usual fare and prices are cheap. There's a shop, a tattoo parlour, and a pub with pool table - all underground. Amazing place. wink
