work xmas do with a difference

Majority of the office seem intent on spending the company contribution per head to have food delivered to the office, waste of good money if you ask me but the votes seem to have spoken.

Rather than order in pizzas or something I considered approaching a street food vendor to attend, anyone got any recommendations?

Got 2 vegetarians and 1 gluten intolerant, not bad for 29 staff.

Can't help with the street vendor but if you do lose to the 'order in' crowd I can highly recommend Smoke BBQ (in the Peace Gardens). Eaten there many times, always excellent. Your veggie may struggle but all their sauces are gluten free. They deliver via Deliveroo.

The Greek deli on shalesmore (?) have a great van

Smoke also have a van, as do the various pizza independents like Sunshine, Abbeydale etc.

May be ask the team who run Pedlar Market for some contacts.

Seems the idea has drawn attention and other departments who initially weren't interested suddenly want in!
