This happened at around 60mph yesterday...

Does it look like it can be repaired by a smart repair of any sort and can anyone recommend anyone?

Doesn't look like a smart repair would work as it's cut the PU quite deeply.

Lloydcolne's body shop are very good, I can vouch for their work on my old M5.

You would want to take the bumper off, and plastic weld it back together from the rear, bit of gobbo and a proper paint repair - I think unfortunately its a bit too much for a 'man in a van' smart repair.

I'd want a new bumper especially on a 65k M3, which is what it will be as it's all one assembly IIRC.

Ooof.

I swear they're evolving through selection to be walkers rather than taking off to get shot.

I hit one on the day I picked up our otherwise as new 335d, so a small mark on front bumper.

Then today a quarry lorry came past near Thrusscross dumping coarse gravel all over the road and now I've got down to metal chips on wing, a scuff on edge of windscreen, and a scratch on bumper side.

Lucky escape given the quantity falling out.

I'm up for the details of a high quality smart repairer if anyone can recommend one.

If they can make it look like new I'm happy vs blending entire panels and stuff.

I've been recommended Autobodycare in Pudsey, if anyone has any experience of using them? Seem sound from what I've seen of them.
