Butter Tubbs run Saturday

Had a trip up with the g'friend on saturday from Sheffield. Bit of a run up to Scotch corner but then lovely A road heading West. It rained unfortunately. The B road to Thwaite is bumpy and needs to be taken with extra caution as some very narrow parts. Past a group of old MG's and one dark coloured Griff that gave a beep; they must have just come down from the pass. Lovely road once you get there. Stopped at Wensleydale cheese factory-very interesting and good restaurant. Fabulous A road back towards the A1 with lovely winding bends and clear straights with good views. Can't wait to try it in the sunshine!
Thoroughly recommend it and I'll certainly try to get on the next PH run out up there.
