have you thought of cutting back down to Leyburn after the pass for some lunch?
The Bolton Arms does a reasonable sunday lunch and they have a fair sized dining room upstairs. Although if you were thinking of going Aysgarth/Langstrothdale Chase/Grassington to get to Brihmam rocks then a stop in Leyburn is a few miles off the direct route.

I dont know if you've planned your run yet but this morning I went to Leyburn and across to Reeth through the army firing ranges (must be one of the most spectacular roads in the UK) and then over to Gunnerside and on to Thwaite and the Buttertubs and then back via Askrigg and Castle Bolton. Fantastic windy roads with the odd fast straight and breathtaking views. Magic.
