Just had a great weekend away in Center Parcs and my little lad did the Junior Quads activity. Very tame I know, but it was his first time and he thoroughly enjoyed it and took to it well. He says it was his favourite part of his little holiday.

Ever since the weekend he's been wearing my motorcycle helmet at any opportunity, and giving it the pretend engine noises. This is the 1st time in his 6 year life he's shown any interest in things with engines!!! So I'm keen to grasp the opportunity.

I had said a while back i'd take him for an hour on the mini motorbikes at Bumpy nr Wakefield, but we never got round to it. I sounded him out on that again after the quads and he's way keener on another go at quads than anything with 2 wheels.

So, question is, is there anywhere in York or nearby that caters for 6 years wanting to have a ride around on a quad bike?

Cheers! smile

You can go quad biking at Bedale and the minimum age limit is 6, it is run by a driving experience company called into the blue

Also the place at Hazle wood Castle at the Leeds end of the A64. Not sure of the minimum age though.
