Does anyone know how much it costs to park here all day? I fancy a day trip to Scarborough but as Transpennine Express are quoting £163 for two people on the train, while an online fuel calculator is coming up with £25 in petrol for the same trip, driving is going to be a no-brainer. Just wondered what the parking charges are like.

A few websites seem to have the following prices -

Charge Times: All Week 9:00am - 6:00pm

Up to

1 Hour £2.00

2 Hours £3.00

4 Hours £4.50

6 Hours £5.50

24 Hours £6.00

Maximum Stay: 24 Hours

Those sites include the one from the company that operate the cash free parking service. I've never made it out there in time to find space so usuall end up elsewhere like Valley Rd

Thanks - I did find one which said the same but a footnote on the web page said it was last updated in 2013, so I think we can safely say that it'll be more now. Not that that's an issue, my main concern was that there was long-stay parking as we'd likely rock up between 8 and 9am and go home at 8pm ish.

I'm late to this, but give me a shout - I've got a B&B and can give you a permit - I'm on Columbus Ravine so not far from anything!
