Great Horton Road Bradford

What did you find out? Weirdly I bought a car from them a couple of weeks ago. Some decent stuff there - various AMG Mercs, they'd just sold a Bentley and there was a fella looking at an S4 when we were there. Pretty helpful guys and got what I deemed as a decent px price on my Mini (what WBAC would have offered).
Car we bought had FVWSH which was the clincher though with it being serviced and MOT'd by them in November. I've bought a few cars with a 'fresh MOT' put on it for sale which wasn't worth the paper it was written on. Namely Cleckheaton Motor Sales (2 dodgy tyres and binding brakes which meant the calipers needed to be replaced) and Lowton Motor Company in Lancashire (2 dodgy tyres, one with a slit in the sidewall and the best of all which admittadely I didn't notice when buying the car, a front wheel on the back and a back on the front - was a BMW so staggered setup!).
Car we bought from Central Motor Co was only relatively cheap and as mentioned, with the FVWSH was what i thought a good deal leaving money in the pot in case something does need looking at.

I've broken the rule #01 of car buying twice now - don't buy a car from Bradford. First was a Mondeo ST. Brilliant car - did 35k faultless miles in it. Now the Golf too - just been for a spin to the post office and back in it via the scenic route and its a great car.
I imagine there is a LOT of rubbish in garages in Bradford but in all honesty, a lot of the stock Central Motor Co had looked half decent vs other places.
Think as long as you're careful and know what you're looking at there are bargains to be had!
Anything in Keighley though
