My local soundtrack round here (Thirsk) if not as intrusive as the Chinook which flew over me yesterday. But for real noise , nothing in my years of living here was as noisy as the Saab Gripens which were exercising from Leeming recently. Ludicrous noise.
Ludicrous noise sounds like a setting...take off throttle
military power
afterburner
ludicrous noise!
The loudest jet I have heard taking off is a B1-B at full afterburner.
